In December 7-9th,2015,Water Soluble Fertilizer Branch of China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association set up a meeting in spring city,Jinan.Since water soluble fertilizer registration standard was issued in 2009,the development of the water soluble fertilizer made a leap development.Suchdataof 2000 production enterprises,7 million tons of production capacity and output of 3.1 million tons is enough to prove it.In the past five years,the water soluble fertilizer has made outstanding contributions,breaking limits of the overcapacityof traditional fertilizer production,waste of resources and environmental pollution.Moreover,it also improves fertilizer use efficiency,strengthens the integration of water and fertilizer,increases farmers’income and so on.The meeting broke several records,which also indicates a huge potential in the development of water soluble fertilizer.
1.Great cast
17 expert representatives,10 industry company representatives,200 attendeesfrom the Ministry of Agriculture,Ministry of National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of Chemical Fertilizer,China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association,China Agricultural University,Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences,Huazhong Agricultural University,South China Agricultural University and other government departments and scientific research institutions attended two seminars and 26 special reports.Enjoying great cast and rich information,the two-day meeting report carried on a thorough discussionfrom the perspective of industry standard,technology,promotion,etc.
2.Bottleneck-representatives nastilyappealed to the"changeof standard”
(1)The fertilizer registration process is relatively complex,and the cost is relatively high.We hope to simplify the examination and approval procedures and improve efficiency on the basis of guaranteeing the quality of fertilizer,so as to reduce the cost and provide convenience for more enterprise innovation.
(2)The water soluble fertilizer market is a mess--the water soluble fertilizer contains so many categories that it is difficult for farmers to identify authentic ones from unscientificformulations and fake products.It is stated in the 13th five-year plan thatthe consolidationof water soluble fertilizer marketwould be strengthened,market access thresholdwould be stricter,the construction of market regulation and certification systemwould be enhanced,and the investigation and punishment of the problems including artificially highprices,unreasonable formulas,unqualified products and fake products would be increased.
(3)Water soluble fertilizer has become a"noble"member.The meeting called for the recycling of packaging.Professor Zhang Chenglinof South China Agricultural University surprised the audience by coming up with the idea of fertilizer station,plastic bags and cartons.
(4)Lagging industry standard and imperfectcorresponding supporting facilities prompt to issue new industry standards as soon as possible.
3.Biological substance
Biological substance refers to the natural biological endogenous nutrientsextracted from plants and animals.The main source is from plants,including inorganic form,such as phosphite,and organic form,represented by L-amino acids,glutamic acid,humus acid,seaweed extract,and chitin.They show a very superior effectin enhancement of soil quality,fertilizer efficiency,rootinducing,biological activity and the stress-resistance,production,commodity of crops.
The meeting was a complete success,gathering many government officials,experts and scholarsfrom scientific research institutes and colleges and industry benchmarking enterprises,andcarrying out dozens of deep and valuable reports.An Xufeng,president of An’s KANO(Qingdao)Bio-engineering co.,LTD.,also attended this meeting,putting forward the idea that low thresholdwas also a contributing factor of the chaotic market of the water soluble fertilizer.All the members wishedthe meeting could rapidly promote the normative development of water soluble fertilizer industry in China.
